Ganguram Chaurasia
The story of Ganguram's began with Ganguram Chaurasia, who migrated to Kolkata from a small village in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. He was a Halwai by profession and was exceptionally good at making mouthwatering traditional sweets.
He worked in a sweetmeat shop owned by Raja Kamala Prasad Mukherjee and was assigned the task of supplying sweets to Rajbari. He worked hard to deliver traditional sweets and with his dedication of hard work, he gained recognition for his skills. With time, his sweets became popular among the masses, laying the foundation of a brand that would symbolize heritage, authenticity, and traditional Bengali sweets.
